Fantasia Gardens Mini Golf (Florida 2013)

Friday, March 8, 2013

We always like to get in a mini golf game or two when we are in Florida (or just about anywhere). It was nearing the end of our vacation, we didn't have anything planned that night, and I got a good discount with my annual pass, so we decided to head to Fantasia Gardens Mini Golf. We played the Gardens Course (the easier of the two there). Surprisingly it wasn't very busy. There were a few groups infront of us and we had to wait a few times, but not for very long. Any groups that came in behind us were well behind us and didn't come close to having to wait for us. In fact, there were a couple of holes we played more than once while we were waiting for the young boys infront of us to finish. When we finished the Gardens Course, we were debating about playing the Fairways Course, but there were a couple big groups of people coming in that were going to play it so we decided not to play and head on out (over to Winter Summerland, in fact.)

The Gardens Course is a nice course. Everything is always kept clean and up to date. The holes are average difficulty. Not really too easy, but most of them weren't super hard either. We usually end up mini golfing in the early evening rather than the daytime for some reason. Definately something I would recommend people to do, especially on an off day from the parks. I think it might be around $12.00 for adults, probably a little less for kids. I didn't really pay too much attention to the price. We knew we wanted to do it and I got a 50% discount, making it affordable. We have mini golfed off Disney grounds, and Disney is not that much more expensive than the other places.
